In association with Practical Classics Magazine, we are offering you a chance to drive your own classic car on the newly refurbished Blyton circuit at Gainsborough for just £149 for the whole day!

Drive at your own pace

It does not matter what kind of car you have, from the fastest sports car to the most sedate saloon, you will be welcome on the track.

As usual, we will be running an 'Open Pits' policy, so you are free to go out on track as much as you want, when you want (we will organise this so not too many cars are out at any one time). This helps us to create the friendly, open atmosphere that has proved to be so popular with our drivers.

Instruction from professional racing drivers will be available to help you to get the maximum benefit from the day.

Mechanical backup and advice from Sport and Classic Ltd will be on hand for you if you have problems with your car. They can also give you advice about getting your car set up for the day and can be reached on 01922 455 566 or trackday@sportandclassic.co.uk

Drive one of our classics

For the first time, we will also be offering a range of our classic cars for you to drive on track and experience a completely different driving experience.

Needless to say, the line up of cars may change (we are dealing with classics after all) but at present this includes:

• Jaguar XK150 – fast road and track specification
• MG Midget
• Racing Scimitar - high performance full track specification
• MK1 Cortina - converted to 3.5 V8 and full race specification
• Capri 2.8i
• Jaguar E-type FHC
• Lotus Esprit 350
• MK1 Golf GTi
• Porsche 944

Hire will be available on the day and subject to availability.

Credit card facilities will be available so you will be able to pick and choose what you would like to drive and we will be offering packages of cars to drive.

The Practical Classics Track Day will include:

• Full on site briefing before you venture out onto the track
• As much time on the track as you like
• Go out on track as many times as you like
• Limited on-track group sizes
• Quality instruction from experienced ARDS Instructors (Association of Racing Drivers Schools) if required
• Professionally trained staff to guide you through the day
• Mechanical & Tuning Staff at the event (Classic Car Health Checks Available)
• Photographer & On-board Filming available (at extra cost)
• On-site Emergency Services
• Free refreshments throughout the day

Our aim is give all of our drivers a superb day out on track under safe conditions, and produce a day that allows both the fastest and the slowest to enjoy themselves; so we don't have track hooligans out there spoiling the fun for others.
